All Vittorazi MY25 engines feature modern EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) and CHT (Cylinder Head Temperature) sensors. These continuously monitor engine temperatures and warn early of overheating. This dramatically increases safety and extends engine life. Especially important for long flights, thermal flying or high ambient temperatures.
Advantage: Timely warning at critical temperatures prevents engine damage and increases reliability to a new level.
All Vittorazi Moster 185 and Cosmos 300 engines of the MY25 generation come standard with electric E-Start. No more strenuous pull starting - engine starts at the push of a button. Especially practical for wind starts, at altitude or in cold temperatures. The Atom 80 MY25 stays with the proven pull start to keep weight minimal (only 9.6 kg).
Applications: Perfect for older pilots, flight schools, frequent starts or when quick go-around is required.
The MY25 engines have an improved cooling system with optimized air flow. This ensures more even temperatures, reduces wear and allows longer full-load phases without risk of overheating. Especially important for tandem flights, heavy pilots or long climb flights.
